NTS Radio: with Sun Araw
We were really proud of this week’s show, which included a guest mix from the inimitable Sun Araw. For the first half I threw together an exotic miscellany of recent faves – including Tesla, Neo Maya and some wonderful piano music by the Brazilian composer Heitor Villa-Lobos – sprinkled with some tracks from Stallones himself. The second hour is all Sun Araw, and his crazy mix entitled PARALLEL DESIRES. Quite a disparate set of tunes – ranging from drum and bass to country – all fed through the Sun Araw machine of analogue disintegrations and dubby bass. Absolutely mindblowing.
